auto safety features to keep our teens safe

When choosing a car for a teenage driver, you have got to keep safety in mind. Sure, we would all love to go out and buy a $500 clunker for our teens to drive, but will that car keep our teens safe as they learn to master the many skills of driving? I created this blog to help other parents identify cars that will keep their teens as safe as possible while driving out on their own. I have studied and researched to find all of the safety features that will provide optimum safety for our teens during their early days of driving and beyond.

4 Tips To Help You Sell Your Car Fast

Have you been asking yourself, "How do you sell your car? Can you sell your vehicle for cash?" The answer to both questions is yes, but you first have to make your vehicle worthy of a buyer's time. If you want to sell your car fast, here are some tips that may motivate buyers to purchase your vehicle.

1. Vacuum the Interior

You may not have cared if your kids ate granola bars in the backseat, but it could be a dealbreaker for a potential buyer. Conceal the evidence of snacks, dirt, and other debris by vacuuming your interior before you sell your truck or car. You can do this at home or at the car wash. Some gas stations also have complimentary or budget-friendly vacuums you can use.

2. Wipe Down the Windows

Car windows are notorious for attracting gunk and grime. Clean yours with a window-safe spray, such as glass cleaner, and a paper towel or soft cloth. Wipe each interior window in a circular motion to help prevent unsightly streaks and ensure you get all the debris.

Glass cleaner also works on the exterior windows and windshield, but you may prefer a stronger product designed specifically for wiping down vehicles. That's because outside debris can be harder to remove than interior dirt.

3. Deodorize Your Interior

Most potential buyers don't want to cruise around town in a smelly vehicle, so make sure yours has a pleasant aroma before you sell it. Spritz the seats with a deodorizing spray, and don't forget to deodorize the rugs and trunk. You can also leave an uncapped bottle of essential oil in your console for a few days. Hanging air fresheners from your mirror or vents is another option, but it won't remove smells that are embedded in your seats.

4. Throw Away Trash

You may have already gotten rid of the trash before vacuuming your interior, but if not, now is your chance. If you have kids, stick your hand under each seat, as they may be hiding candy wrappers or french fry boxes. You should also remove any personal items, such as blankets, stuffed animals, or photographs when you sell your car or truck.

Is it Time to Sell Your Car?

After reading these suggestions, you may find yourself ready to sell your car. That's great, but make sure you use a reputable auto dealer for the process. That way, you'll get a fair price when you sell your car or truck.
